User Friendly | The AFL FlexScan OTDR enables both experts and novices to quickly, reliably and accurately detect, locate, identify and measure optical network components and interference. After enabling industry-standard or user-set pass/fail criteria, the network is displayed with intuitive, icon-based view LINKMAP. Results can be saved to a PDF, internally or externally, and printed. The AFL FlexScan automates test setup, shortens test time and simplifies interpretation of results to improve test efficiency and reduce costs.
Pocket-sized | AFL Flexscan OTDRs truly fit in any pocket, battery operation allows for a day's use, powering the 5-inch touchscreen (800x480 pixel resolution, inside/outside readable). Touch control does not require a stylus.
All-in-one tester | With optional inspection scope connector, integrated optical light source (OLP), power meter (OPM) and VFL (red light), Flexscan (AFL) provides a one-stop solution. This ensures that technicians are provided with everything they need to locate faults and troubleshoot fiber optic network problems. Downloaded results can be viewed and professional reports generated using the included TRM® Manager software. The software is Windows compatible. It extended version TRM Advanced also exists for the ambitious user.
